Each year, we lose some good outdoor art in Winnipeg. For the year indicated, here's a
last look at, a last goodbye to some of the artwork that has disappeared that year.
Bears: 'Bear'Nard - A Work of Art (B59)
This artwork was done in 1996 by Sharon Hall; and was 1 of 15 distinct renderings of aboriginal artwork for this underpass- a project headed up by Jacques St. Godard. All of the artwork was lost when the underpass walls were resurfaced in 2008. Approximately 32 pieces of new artwork were installed here in the fall of 2008.
